Hey guys!! Hope you all are doing well. Being proficient in different AI tools is the need of the hour, isn’t it?? It is right, for the same reason I recently attended an AI tool Workshop by Dipak Patel.
To be honest, I didn’t find any good reviews regarding the workshop. So with no expectations in my mind, I decided to attend it this workshop didn’t prove me wrong at all and my experience turned out to be the worst. I know it might be difficult to believe this now but by the end of this blog, you all will understand the reason behind it.
Let’s understand what happened during the session.

Boring Start
After joining the session and seeing not even a handful of people were joined, I got disheartened at the start itself. But I decided that if I joined it I would wait and see how it would turn out.
The mentor Dipak Patel, Started the session with a brief introduction of himself about how he used to be a corporate employee but ended up starting his own start-up and how he had an experience of 23 years. Although I didn’t find the intro fascinating. After the introduction, he explained the flow of the workshop like what all topics will be covered and all.
After listening to the topics, I already knew how my experience was going to be and to what extent I would get disappointed but, still I wanted to stay till the end and hoped it would turn out well at some point.
Basic Level Topics
As I already mentioned, Nothing extraordinary or out of the box was covered. He included basic topics like “Will AI take your job”, “chatgpt stuff” and how we can use it. I already knew this was going to happen but, somehow It was feeling like my time was getting wasted.
He then started with how AI tools like ChatGPT can be used and explained using a very basic prompt. He was reading answers given by chatGpt and explaining how we can use it to make effective Powerpoint.
Although he was explaining everything from basics, I don’t think in today’s time when AI is everything we need such basics to be taught. Everyone out there might have made a PowerPoint in their lives.
Useful AI Tools
At the start, he told us he would be covering 11 different AI tools. Although he was not able to explain everything accurately, some of the tools he shared were useful, like some for articles, PPTs and many others.
We can get these tools by searching on the internet too. I must appreciate his efforts and how he was trying to help us by sharing those tools. Some of them were really cool and I would really love to try them some day.
Long Explanations
The session was around 1-2 hours. I know he was trying to explain things nicely but, stretching a single topic for too long was making us feel bored especially when we knew about it already.
I felt if he was not stretching things for too long then they might not have felt boring to us. I won’t lie, at times I was regretting my decision but still decided to stick till the end in the hope of getting something by investing my time into it.
Conclusion
The session was around 2 hours long. You could expect to get names of some cool AI Tools but apart from this keep your expectations very low.
This was all about my experience. I hope you might have understood the reasons behind my bad experience. Anyone who has zero knowledge of these tools can try this type of workshop for once. You cannot expect any advanced knowledge or out-of-the-box things from this. Based on my experience I would rate it 2/5.
