Hey guys!! I have recently attended a ChatGPT Workshop for product managers by Upraised. The workshop was taken by Malay Krishna Lead Product Manager at Vyapar.
This was my first time attending their session and the first time was my last one too.
This review may vary from person to person, but let’s understand my experience of the whole session.
Table of Contents
Introduction
Just like any other session this too started with the introduction of the mentor Manay Krishna, first by the host followed by the mentor himself. To be honest I felt like I was listening to a boring story, not talking about his introduction but maybe it was his pace and tone that felt boring.
He then started with a small game to keep the audience engaged but, It was not that engaging. The flow of the workshop was shared by the host of upraised.

All about ChatGPT
I know today every talk includes ChatGPT, but isn’t the role different for different fields. He started with the basic line: will AI take the job, and explained why product managers should be the early adopters of ChatGPT which wasn’t clear at all.
He also shared some limitations of Chatgpt followed by its capabilities. I didn’t find anything new or anything. I didn’t know we could get this information on Google too I guess.
He was trying to make it interesting but was not able to.
Interactions
If we keep the session aside and only look at the part where he interacted with us, it was better than others. We were asked to submit queries through slides. He took the queries in the middle of the session too.
However, I felt the energy of the mentor was too low, as if he himself was not interested which made us feel bored too.
Generic content by Malay Krishna
Throughout the session, I found the whole content to be more generic instead of being focused on the product manager field. This content we can find anywhere but we came looking for something that can enhance the quality as a product manager.
The session lacked personalization and kept on confusing us at times. It could have been much better if the mentor focused on the content.

Conclusion
My overall experience of the workshop was not at all satisfactory as I expected a lot from the session. The session could have been much better if the mentor’s energy was high as it made us feel bored.
I would not recommend this workshop as we have much better options out there if we want to learn the use of ChatGPT. I would rate my experience to be 2/5.
