Hey folks!! I recently attended the CNBC F&O 2-day Trading Workshop. Today I am here to share my day 1 Part 1 experience with you all to help you decide whether this workshop is worth your money.
The CNBC F&O Trading Day 1 workshop aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of futures and options trading. Despite the promising premise, the workshop failed to catch up with expectations.
Let’s understand all the details of day 1.
Table of Contents
Introduction Of F&O Trading
The session started with an introduction of the panellist for the 2-day workshop. The first session was taken by Mr Ayush of JM Financial Services, the introduction lacked the basics of the stock market or stocks.
They straight away started with how to choose a stock instead of giving a brief about them. If someone new in the field has joined they won’t be able to understand the session from the start because of the use of technicality.
Lack of Depth
While the session F&O Trading covered a wide range of topics, many attendees including me felt that the workshop lacked depth. It felt more like “Jack of all trades, Master of none”. We hoped to learn a lot from the session but were unable to grasp even a single topic.
The superficial treatment of topics limited the workshop’s effectiveness in preparing attendees for complex trading environments.
Lack of practical guidance
Despite promises of practical trading tips, the workshop fell short of providing actionable guidance. Stock Market is all about practical implementations instead of just reading some presentation slides.
It felt more like “Learning how to drive a car by looking at a YouTube video”. We know all the theories about it but if we were asked to drive we would definitely crash.
Interactions
As I said above, it was just reading presentations with zero interactions. It felt like we were invisible and they were just talking to each other while we were getting neglected.
I felt like I was watching a recorded boring lecture on the stock market. They were unable to hold their audience at times. I genuinely like that I have wasted my whole time on this kind of workshop which was of no use.

Conclusion
In Conclusion, I would say my overall experience was one of the worst among the ones I have attended to date. It Felt boring most of the time as it lacked practical guidance related to the stock market.
I would not recommend someone new in the field to attend this workshop, but opinions may vary. I would rate my overall experience a solid 2/5.
