Cheerful Start by Growdiesel
The session started with a vibrant video that was full of insights about bio-energy and its usage. The session progressed with the mentor of Growdiesel Academy explaining the flow of the session and everything we could expect from it.
He was followed by an introduction of the mentor and a brief introduction of growdiesel. He shared what all activities take place at growdiesel like waste elimination and biofuel generation. he also shared the technologies used for biofuel generation.
Waste-to-Wealth Initiatives
The mentor explained the vast investment landscape in the green energy sector and how many jobs are created based on the statistics of different countries. I never knew this industry had so many opportunities.
He then with the help of examples explained what exactly value creation and problem solving were. He explained how social entrepreneurs are superheroes of society but this field is not only about charity but giving back to society through service and innovations.
Biofuel generation- A genuine problem?
The mentor explained whether generating biofuel is a problem or not. He explained the importance of biofuel with the help of stats regarding the limitations of crude oil and other factors affecting this thing.
The session was mostly based on facts and figures. He discussed how waste was one of the biggest problems that India was facing and they are dealing with it at growdiesel.
Interactions
I would not say that the session was very interactive or engaging but I can say one thing for sure the mentor made sure to clear each and every topic. He interacted with us whenever he could.
It could have been more interesting since the whole session included stats things were boring at times.
Conclusion
My overall experience of the workshop was quite satisfactory. The whole session was about 2-3 hours long and was very insightful. The session covered various aspects including a wide range of opportunities in the green sector.
The engagement was a little dull but apart from that things were better than expectations. I would rate my overall experience a solid 4/5.
