Hey guys!! I have recently attended a Power BI Workshop by Jobaaj. The session was completely free and was taken by Rakshit Vig. I am a data geek and love to explore such sessions in search of learning something new, this was one of the reasons I attended this workshop.
My overall experience was quite better than what I expected it to be. So, Let’s understand how the session went in detail.
Table of Contents
Introduction
This session didn’t just start with a basic introduction just like other sessions. The mentor Rakshit Vig from Jobaaj Learning started with a self-introduction, which was a basic thing. However, I was surprised when he started the discussion on job trends in analytics, as not many sessions addressed such topics at the start.
Not just the job trends but also discussed what skills a person needs to go into analytics which were MS Power BI, Excel, Tableau, and SQL with some soft skills. I didn’t expect such a good start considering this session was free.
Project Introduction
After a beautiful start, He introduced us to the project we were going to build which was the Power BI sales dashboard. He shared the data set with all of us and started with a brief introduction of the data set and all details were there in that.
After this, he walked us through the Power BI interface and taught us how to load the correct data set into the tool.

Making of Sales Dashboard
After the interface introduction, we started with the dashboard building. He started by building every chart from scratch while explaining everything in detail. Followed by asking one of the participants to explain the chart, I think this increased our interest in Jobaaj’s session.
He then built the whole dashboard slowly while explaining every chart concerning the data and KPI we needed. He also taught us the formatting and styling of the charts to make the dashboard attractive.
Not just these charts but he also introduced to Charts Using AI that can be used to make our task more easy and more effective. I must say the way he was teaching was quite impressive.
Real-Time Job Analysis
He was not just teaching us how to build dashboards after he showed us how these tools can get us jobs in many big companies. He did this job search on LinkedIn along with Naukri to explain how Powerful Power BI can be and how we can get jobs in this field.
I found this part catchy as not many sessions include such real-time job analysis, But I was surprised when he did this and my confidence grew towards the Jobaaj’s session.
Portfolio By Jobaaj
Not just job analysis but he also shared some platforms where we can create effective portfolios to add to our resume to empower it. He explained how we create portfolios on hacker rank, forage etc
I also shared some Edtech platforms to earn certifications. I never attended a session where a mentor took topics like this and this was one of the reasons I was impressed by him.
Unlocking their Masterclass
They shared details about the master class about Data Management, Python, and SQL with hands-on experience in internships, live sessions and job assistance at the price of 24,999 INR. He shared how they have collaborated with an intuition for sponsoring the workshop with a duration of 4 months and lifetime access to it. We will get certificates by the end.

Conclusion
The session from Jobaaj Learning was about 3 hours long and the majority of time was dedicated towards the job analysis section. My experience was good as being from a data background it was easy for me to apply his teaching alongside.
I would recommend this for those who are new in this field but those who are old won’t find it any new and might get bored. I would recommend my overall experience to be 4/5.
