Hey folks!! Running a business is a difficult task, and what makes it easy is marketing, in my opinion, especially digital marketing through WhatsApp, which can be one of the most effective ways. For the same, I attended Navin Parmar’s Whatsapp Marketing Workshop by Skill Nation.
Navin Parmar, Skill Nation’s co-founder, was the mentor for this 2-day workshop. This workshop was for Rs. 299. I read some good reviews about Navin Parmar’s other workshops too. This factor convinced me to invest my money and time in it.
Let’s briefly understand Day 1 of this workshop.

Energetic Start
The workshop started with a brief introduction of the mentor, Navin Parmar. He then asked us to install some applications for parallel learning. also explained the difference between using WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business and which one is best for marketing.
He explained everything from scratch, like what profile picture we need to set for our business account based on the type of work one does. Followed by how we need to wisely choose the category for the business account.
Some of the segments were a little hard to understand as he used some hard terminologies, which were difficult to grasp for someone new to this concept. This distracted, I guess, a lot of people from staying focused during the session
Best WhatsApp Marketing Practices
He explained the importance of practices like setting up an ideal profile picture and short and crisp descriptions about our business and how they can help us attract customers. He also shared how first impressions matter a lot, especially when you’ve established a new business.
As the session progressed, he shared the 7 steps for selling our products on WhatsApp, which included Profiling, Displaying reviews, including the WhatsApp catalogue, following strategies, and many more.
The Pace Was Fast
At times, his pace felt too fast like he was trying to cover a lot all at once, even when it was a 2-day workshop. Sometimes it was difficult to understand so many things all at once while trying to implement them in parallel.
Although his teaching style was good, certain things went over my head as I was trying to process the things he taught earlier. making them difficult to understand. If he had slowed down, things would have been much clearer.
Conclusion
The whole workshop was about 3 hours long. I would recommend it to someone who is looking to market their business through WhatsApp. It would be great for someone who has strong grasping power, as the pace gets fast at times and might get difficult to understand. It would be a great workshop for people at the initial stage of their business, but for more advanced techniques, there are many other better options too.
