Hey guys!! Yes, you have read the title right, there’s been a buzz about a workshop. So, I decided to attend a PowerPoint Workshop by Hardik Raja, Co-founder of Skill Nation. I have previously attended workshops by him and had a mixed experience.

I am here to share details about my experience of this workshop. There were many claims made regarding the workshop, let’s see if any of those claims were true.

As someone who relies heavily on presentations in my professional life, I was eager to enhance my skills and discover new techniques. Although I had low expectations from the workshop.

Skill Nation

3 Time Saving Hacks

He started the session with a basic introduction about himself and also gave an overview of the whole session. He started by sharing some time-saving hacks related to PowerPoint like using complete Ctrl+D for duplicating elements instead of copying/Pasting.

He shared tricks related to how we can use lock drawing mode. Although the tricks were very easy, still he explained them 2-3 times for a better understanding. Tricks were nothing special but still, many of the people didn’t know about it.

Content and Structure

One of the standout features of the workshop was its well-organized structure. Hardik seamlessly guided participants through the fundamentals of PowerPoint, ensuring that even beginners felt comfortable navigating the software.

He covered everything from basic slide creation to advanced animation techniques, providing a comprehensive understanding of the platform. I have been using PowerPoint in my day-to-day life, so many things have saved a lot of my time.

Interactive Session by Skill Nation

I felt throughout the session the most important thing was that he was connected to us. Participants were given the chance to apply the newly acquired skills through hands-on exercises and notes were provided by him in case we needed to revise.

Such sessions need to be interactive in order to be successful and in my opinion, Hardik Raja nailed that factor and held his audience for the whole 3-hour session without letting us get bored.

Creativity

At the start, he showed us a ppt about an Apple ad full of animations and so attractive and told us we’d be making them. During the making of the ppt, I came to learn a N number of new things.

It felt like I had discovered a new method to make my PPTs and reports way more interactive and interesting. PPTs are part of a working professional’s life and if we can make them beautiful and attractive, then nothing is better than this.

Conclusion

My overall experience of the workshop was quite better than what I expected it to be. Hardik Raja’s PowerPoint workshop at Skill Nation is a must-attend for anyone looking to elevate their presentation game. Whether you’re a noob or an experienced presenter, the workshop caters to all skill levels.

The whole session was about 3 hours long. You can get many tricks and tips from basic ones to ones related to AI which can help us in real life. I would rate my overall experience a solid 4/5.
