Hey peeps!! I recently attended an AI workshop organized by Growth School. The Growth School workshop had an actual price of Rs 999, but I was able to attend it for just Rs 299. As we all know, the Power Of AI using ChatGPT is the future of the world and many of us are worried about losing our jobs to AI.

With the same fear and thought, I decided to invest my money in this workshop, hoping to learn something new. The workshop was led by the founder of Growth School, Vaibhav Sisinty, which made me quite excited. However, it did not live up to the hype created by the team and left me feeling disappointed and unhappy.

Introduction- Growth School Workshop

The workshop started with a boost and high energy and to be honest I felt that it was going to be super awesome but turned out to be exactly the opposite. It progressed with an introduction of ChatGPT and how AI can take over several jobs.

There was nothing new or anything we were not aware of so the start itself started feeling boring followed by which he started explaining how we could use ChatGPT to ease our task which again was nothing new or extraordinary.

Mastering Prompt

The session continued with him explaining how prompts matter a lot while using AI tools like ChatGPT and how many types of prompts there are. I agree with him but frankly speaking, I didn’t spend my money or my time learning this as I could have learned this from YouTube instead.

He explained the difference between a good and a bad prompt, this part was a little better than others but for only this, I would never prefer to invest my money or time for 3 long hours.

Sudden Introduction and Uses of AI tools

In the middle of the session, he started introducing himself. I understand that introduction is important but in the middle of teaching can completely break the flow and that’s what happened to me too.He taught various uses of AI tools like Chatgpt, and Bing that can be used for answering our queries, creating content for videos or posts, using it as an interviewer for our job preparation, and many more. All these were good but when I think of it this was not something out of the box or worth investing anything in.

Trade and Tricks

By the end of the workshop, he introduced a Generative AI course worth “Rs 49,999”  but, if we had a special offer if we purchased it within 30 minutes during the session it would cost us around “Rs 11,999” Why?? I would spend such a large sum of money on learning when I have better alternatives, especially when their Workshops were disappointing. how can we expect their course to be good for us? no right.

Conclusion Rated- 2.5/5

Overall my experience of this workshop was not at all good. It felt like all they made were “empty promises”  and couldn’t live up to my hopes. I would not recommend anyone to not just spend their money or even their time on workshops like this that only aim at promoting their courses and have no concerns for the audience because of which I have rated them 2.5/5.
