Hey, trading enthusiasts out there! Recently, I attended an Options Trading Workshop by Skill Nation for Rs 299, but they claimed the actual price was Rs 2000. In my opinion, there was nothing in that workshop that could be worth this much money.
Talking about my experience, it was a waste of time, although it might vary from person to person. I read a lot about Skill Nation‘s big promises, but according to me, my experience was not even near what they claimed it would be.
Let’s understand the whole 3-hour-long workshop in detail.

Introduction
The session started with a brief introduction of the mentor, Yogesh Gadhave. He started by explaining a stock chart without even telling us what this was all about like he was assuming we were some expert or something, which made me feel out at the start of the session itself.
When we think of it, can we directly jump to Z while skipping all the alphabets? Can’t we be perfect at it?? No, right, same for the workshop. He directly jumped onto statistics, explaining the daily trading graphs of very famous companies without explaining what it was all about. To be honest, it started feeling boring, and at times I found it difficult to stay concentrated on it.
Options Trading: Not Suitable For A Newbie
During the Options Trading Workshop, it was mentioned that prior options trading knowledge was not required. However, I did not feel the same way during the session. It seemed that someone without any prior knowledge would not be able to fully comprehend the material and would end up wasting three hours.
Claiming something that’s not true isn’t a scam?? It is right, and why would anyone, after this, be willing to invest their money or time in their workshops? No one, right? Not me, for sure.
Less Interactive
I felt the interaction through chat was very low, which made me feel like I was watching a recording or something and felt so bored. It could have been made more interactive by involving the audience more, which could have made the session interesting and easy to grasp.
He was talking all about numbers. I know trading is all about numbers, but without relevant context or understanding of topics, it can be difficult to understand certain things. At times he was also explaining certain things nicely, but again, for that segment alone, why would I invest my 3 hours into this? I should not, right when I have much better options and at a much more affordable price.
Marketing Tricks
At the beginning of the session, we were promised bonuses worth RS 12,000. However, it all felt fake and seemed like a trick to attract people, as he offered some trade ideas that he claimed were worth around Rs 6,000 and more.
By the end of the session, he introduced a 4-week mentorship program for options trading with an actual cost of Rs 62,550, but as attendees, we could take it up at Rs 6,999, which sounded like some sort of cheap marketing trick and expected us to invest in something that could result in wasting both our money and time.
Conclusion Rated-2/5
In my opinion, this Options Trading Workshop by Skill Nation was not for someone new in this field, as they didn’t explain it from scratch. Investing money or spending three long hours on such workshops is not worth it, especially when there are much better options available out there and at much more affordable prices. In my opinion, it only deserves a rating of 2/5.
