Commendable Start
I guess it’s rightly said a great start marks the beginning of something amazing. The mentor started the session with a basic self-introduction followed by which he explained what qualities are needed to learn the stock market.
He explained how we only need to have a psychological game, and a strong thought process to excel in the stock market. He explained how most of the people are unable to understand the stock market and are losing their money.
Success in Stock Market
He explained with the help of an example how losses in the stock market can affect us. He shared a list of mistakes we make while trading and how it affected us. I felt his way of teaching was quite good and practical.
As the session progressed he shared a quote on which we should work “Be greedy when people are fearful and be fearful when people are greedy”. I don’t remember the last time I heard something so accurate.
He shared a list of do’s and don’t while trading or for the one who wants to start trading. I did find some of the tips useful and can help us in trading.
Highlight
According to me, one of the highlights I felt was when there was a discussion focused on the psychological aspects of trading, highlighting the impact of emotions such as fear and greed on investment decisions.
We learned valuable techniques for maintaining discipline and objectivity in their trading strategies, essential for long-term success in the stock market. I never knew our emotions had such a big impact on our success in trading.
Interactions
The session was quite interactive as throughout the session, he was connected to us through chat and made sure we understood each and every topic. He explained things repeatedly if anyone found it difficult to understand.
As the session was quite long he made sure to give breaks for effective learning. His energy matched with us and most of the time I was able to grasp things.
Conclusion
My overall experience of the 4-hour-long stock market workshop was quite good and left me amazed by the end of the session. I have attended many workshops related to the stock market but this workshop left me speechless as the quality of content was commendable.
There were times I felt bored but it can be overlooked if we look at the bigger picture. I would rate my overall experience a solid 4/5.
